MBTA Orange Line Signal Replacement

The replacement of the Haymarket North Signal System included 18 miles of 48 strand single mode fiber optic cable and 118 miles of signal cable. The fiber optic cable, interconnecting instrument houses is used to report real time information to the signal tower and operation control center.
